An individual approach

Sexual health is a reflection of the whole person. As a medical doctor trained and certified in the treatment of sexual disorders, Dr. Grossman takes a comprehensive approach to diagnosis and care. Each patient receives a thorough medical assessment to determine if any health issue may be interfering with functioning, including a health history, targeted physical exam and a complement of lab and leading-edge diagnostic tests, as needed. From there, Dr. Grossman prescribes a regimen that addresses the underlying cause of the dysfunction — not just the symptoms — and is tailored specifically to the needs of each individual patient.

Medical specialist, expertise you can trust

Sexual dysfunction can result from a wide range of causes. Anything that interferes with blood flow to the penis and testicles, nerve impulses or hormones can cause erectile dysfunction or premature ejaculation — the two most common disorders, affecting more than half of men between ages 40 and 70. Common health conditions can also be to blame, among them atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries), hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes, low testosterone, prostate problems or previous pelvic surgery as well as the use of medications commonly prescribed for depression or hypertension.

Because there are multiple causes and conditions that underlie male sexual dysfunction, it is best — and most safely — treated by a medical specialist.
