Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a sensitive subject for your patients, particularly those for whom Viagra, Cialis, or Levitra is ineffective or contraindicated.  Fortunately, oral medications are not the only option. 

We at the Male Care Center specialize in meeting the needs of treatment-resistant patients and others with particular needs.  For these individuals, successful therapy depends upon pinpointing the underlying causes of erectile dysfunction and other sexual issues.  The Male Care Center uses advanced diagnostic techniques that help differentiate among vascular, hormonal, neurologic, and psychogenic conditions in order to provide the most effective therapy. Because of our focus on male sexual dysfunction, we have developed investigative and therapeutic options that are not widely available in the Denver and Rocky Mountain area.  Our capabilities include penile color Doppler imaging and home nocturnal penile tumescence (NPT) testing, both considered highly accurate methods for assessing extent of physical impairment.  Click Here to see examples of normal and abnormal NPT and Doppler tests.  Even when testosterone levels are "normal," more detailed testing may uncover subtle, but treatable forms of hypogonadism.   

Some of our specialized treatment options include:

• Individually customized penile injection therapy - often effective for oral or simple prostaglandin failures
• Long acting subcutaneous testosterone pellets (can last up to 4-5 months)
• Unique, minimally invasive, outpatient penile-implant technique, providing excellent results and rapid recovery
• Iontophoresis and tailored surgery for Peyronie's Disease
• Dr. Grossman is now performing the "Single Relaxing Incision for Correction of different types of Penile Curvature (Peyronie's Disease) based on Geometrical Principles" after having been trained by Dr. Paulo H. Egydio in Sao Paulo, Brazil (2004 BJU International 94,1147-1157).
